Krystian Godlewski

A London-based Polish actor, singer, teacher, and director specialising in physical theatre.

He studied acting at the National Academy of Dramatic Art in Warsaw, Poland. He’s the founder and artistic director of The Bones Theatre and co-founder of The London Open Choir.

Krystian played the role of ‘Groot’ in Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” as a motion capture artist. He has worked at companies like Stajnia Pegaza, Helen Chadwick Song Theatre, Song of the Goat Theatre, Transport Theatre, and Royal Lyceum Theatre. His TV credits include work with BBC, Channel 4, Sky TV, and the History Channel playing in various drama series.

He has collaborated with well-known practitioners such as Jairo Cuesta, Helen Chadwick, Mia Theil Have and Marie Gabrielle Rotie.

Krystian is currently an acting teacher at Buckinghamshire University and East15.

He is a member of the Flabbergast Theatre Company and plays the role of Oberon in their production of a Midsummer Night’s Dream.
